IDU implemented the project “Improving local public finance management through citizen and local stakeholder engagement in local budget planning and execution”, funded by UK AID. The project promoted budget transparency and citizen participation in local public finance decision-making. It resulted in the development of a practical guide on citizen engagement in budget planning and execution, published in both Romanian and Russian.
