National Consultation “Improving local service to empower Women and Men in the Republic of Moldova”


On April 27, 2011, at Hotel “Codru”, was held a National Consultation on “Improving local service to empower Women and Men in the Republic of Moldova”. The event was organized by UN Women Program, supported by Embassy of Sweden and Moldovan Government.


One of the main goals of the event was the presentation of the results of the Study on mapping services provided in four pilot rayons of Moldova in areas of employment, social protection and entrepreneurship. After the results were presented, the participants of the event have carried out several debates on results obtained and have made some proposals for completing the study.
